Project and execution of work: 1989-1991.

Winning project of the first prize of the national contest of ideas of Lighthouses and Maritime Signals. Located in the middle of a coastal urban nucleus inhabited mainly during the summer months, the Nules lighthouse emerges as a territorial reference between the Mediterranean and the orange groves. This spontaneously generated town lacks institutional buildings, so the lighthouse offers open and public use. Thus it has been conceived as a lookout tower that supports the lantern located more than 30 meters from the ground. Inside the elevator, the stairs and ramps of stainless steel and wood invite you to an upward journey to enjoy the exceptional views in all directions.
